Types of Grapes

Mataro (Mourvedre) - Black Grape – Seems to have potential in Australia. This grape is extensively planted in Chateanuneuf du Pape and Bandol in Fance. Origins of the grape are traced back to Spain. Winemakers complain that this grape has “structure but no flavor.”
